Ramon Valadez is the founder and managing partner of Valadez & Associates. He brings 37 years of government experience to the firm, including 24 years as an elected official across three levels of Arizona government — the State House of Representatives, the State Senate, and the Pima County Board of Supervisors. He has served in leadership positions at every level and built relationships across both parties and across Arizona's full geographic and economic landscape.
Beyond government, Ramon has spent significant time in the private sector as a startup operator. He has served as CEO, CFO, and COO of multiple early-stage companies, written business plans with detailed multi-year financial forecasts, and led organizations through capital raises, operational scaling, and strategic pivots. He holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the University of Arizona and an MBA.
Ramon was born and raised in Tucson, the son of immigrants from Guadalajara and Nogales, Sonora. Spanish is his first language. He lives in Sahuarita with his family.
His combination of government service, corporate operating experience, advanced business education, and bilingual cultural fluency makes him a rare profile in the government relations and strategic advisory market — and it shapes the firm's distinctive capability set.
